Ermo and Exacad announce technical collaboration

French moldmaker Ermo Group has announced a technical collaboration with Boisbriand, Que.-based mold manufacturer Exacad Fabrication de Moules Inc.

According to Ermo, the technical association between the two companies will enable Ermo to provide its customers with an authorized service centre in North America.

The company has made significant moves in the North American industry in recent years, with the establishment of Ermo North America Inc. in Montreal, Que. in 2005.

“Establishing a technical service centre for Ermo mold’s repair and maintenance was imperative to our development in this part of the world,” said Ermo North America Inc.’s Yann Coquelle in a press release. “Exacad is the ideal collaborator to realize this venture as we have common views of our respective markets and the moldmaker trade.”
