Sandretto USA has announced plans to begin building its Mega TE injection press in the U.S. Sandretto USA is a subsidiary of Italy’s Sandretto Industrie SpA, which was purchased in 1997 by Cannon Group. The company will start assembling the Mega TE machines at a pilot assembly operation at Cannon’s factory in Zelienople, PA. The goal is to produce three to five of the machines in the range of 610 to 1100 tons of clamping force next year. In Canada, Sandretto is represented by Ontario Heater & Supply based in Richmond Hill, Ont.
