Only a few weeks after announcing it would be the representative for Sandretto injection molding machines in North America, Taylor’s HPM (Mount Gilead, OH) has gone one step further and purchased Sandretto’s injection molding machinery manufacturing business. Based in Italy, Sandretto was a subsidiary of the Cannon Group, which specializes in urethane processing equipment. Taylor’s HPM also purchased Cannon’s German Windsor division, which also manufactures injection molding machinery.
Christopher Filos, Taylor’s HPM CEO, says the two companies complement each other. HPM manufactures large machines, and is strong in North America. Sandretto and Windsor supply mediu-sized and special purpose presses, and have a solid reputation in Europe and South America.
