* Extrusion equipment manufacturer Davis-Standard LLC, of Pawcatuck, Conn., has announced a series of appointments. Steven Kriger has been named business manager, reclaim and compounding systems; Jinsong Lin has been appointed to the position of extrusion business director, China; and Fabian Umbach has been appointed to lead the company’s Liquid Coating Business Team, based out of Fulton, N. Y.
* Chippewa Falls, Wis.-based extrusion equipment manufacturer Extrusion Dies Industries has named Mark D. Miller to the position of manager of the company’s new products group.
* Edmonton, Alta.-based ZCL Composites Inc. has appointed Ron Bachmeier to the position of COO, and Ron Fink to the position of executive vice president.
* Tim French has rejoined flexible packaging supplier Pliant Corporation as managing director of Canada, and of Pliant’s waste disposal products business globally. He will be based out of the company’s Orillia, Ont. facility.
