Bob Brandt has been named vice president of manufacturing for MEGlobal, a joint venture between The Dow Chemical Company and Petrochemical Industries Company of Kuwait. He will be responsible for operation of three ethylene oxide-ethylene glycol production plants in Alberta.

Instrumentation equipment supplier Dynisco, of Franklin, Mass., has announced a series of appointments. Mike Kelly has been named to the position of senior vice president, business unit manager – plastics; Matt Carrara is now executive director of global sales and marketing – plastics; and Mike Davis in the new product manager – plastics.

Tooling supplier The L.S. Starrett Company has appointed Hardy Hamann to the newly created position of vice president of marketing and business development. He will be based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Athol, Mass.
