Targeting automotive applications such as fascia, consoles and bumpers, Ewikon Hotrunner Systems has released its HPS III large valve gate system to the North American market.
The unique design incorporates Ewikon’s In-Line valve gate. The entire assembly mounts in front of the manifold so the valve pin does not transition the manifold and is shorter than conventional valve gate pins. The pin is free from deflection, which extends pin life.
The In-Line valve gate nozzle is available with melt-channel diameters as large as 22 mm in order to handle large shot weights typical of automotive applications.
