Kawaguchi’s DVH digital hydraulic control system incorporated on the KX Series injection molding machines increases piston pump efficiency, reduces the heat generated by the pumping system and reduces the volume of hydraulic oil by up to 40 percent compared with previous models.
Overall power consumption is also reduced by up to 50 percent over previous models.
Wider platens allow larger molds to be fitted, while the clamping mechanism is more rigid for precise, reliable clamping.
In the PC-based EZ-2000 control, a 32-bit processor and a multiple CPU distributed control result in high functionality and high-speed processing. Mold set-up memory is increased to 120 sets of data.

Practical training to optimize machine control

Optimizing Machine Control Settings is a CD-ROM course that discusses practical ways for molders to improve their molding machine operation and productivity.
The course teaches personnel how to produce good parts efficiently, safely and at a profit by presenting techniques to optimize the molding machine control settings to run at minimum cycle time. It includes full motion video, text, audio and 3-D graphic animation.
