Mould-tek appointed Canadian rep for Chen Hsong I/M machines

Mould-tek Industries Inc., based in Toronto, has been appointed exclusive representative in Canada for Chen Hsong, a Chinese manufacturer of injection molding machinery.
Mould-tek will also be selling Chen Hsong machines in the U.S., especially in the Northeast.
The Chen Hsong Group, headquartered in Hong Kong and with manufacturing plants in mainland China and Taiwan, also has a U.S. parts and service centre in Houston, Tex.
“What attracted us to Chen Hsong is their broad product range,” Don Berggren, Mould-tek president, said. “We’ve already sold a 3,000 ton Chen Hsong machine to a customer in Quebec.”
Chen Hsong offers injection molding machines from 55 tons clamp pressure through 3,000 tons, with toggle, full hydraulic clamp and hybrid models available. Chen Hsong also manufactures CHEN-PET, a two-stage PET preform molding turnkey system.
Mould-tek manufactures a broad range of bulk handling equipment and has represented Japan’s Kawaguchi line of injection molding machinery (140 tons clamping pressure through 650 tons) for over 30 years, with over 1,000 Kawaguchi machines sold in Canada during that time. Mould-tek will continue to represent the Kawaguchi line.
