Blow molder has small but accessible footprint

Uniloy Milacron’s new BWF 16 D shuttle blow-molding machine provides interchangeability with existing molds, while upgrading blow molders to tie-barless accessibility, in-machine trimming, and closed-loop position and speed control. The BWF 16 D maximizes bottle processing productivity with easier mold changes, superior repeatability and consistent quality.

The machine can be fitted for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 parison production in single- or double-station configuration with in-machine trimming. In double-station production, bottle transfer is oriented from both machine sides to one straight single-exit conveyor.

Cut-outs in the front door enable die centering and blow pin adjustment while the machine is running for fast set-up and adjustment without interrupting production.

High-speed closing machine for hinged-lid closures

Norwalt Design’s new high-speed, continuous motion, cap-closing machine provides a fully automated system for fast, accurate and gentle closing of hinged-lid closures at speeds up to 300 parts per minute.

The closing machine is designed for easy product changeover to accommodate different sizes and styles. Standard features include automatic feeding, closed lid inspection, and an integrated reject station. It can also be inserted into a complete closure handling system so that closures are sent to it directly from the injection molding machine.
