LOW-ENERGY IMPACT TESTER IDEAL FOR PLASTIC

Instron will feature its Dynatup Mini-Tower instrumented impact tester with the Impulse data acquisition and analysis system at Plast-Ex. Designed with a small footprint, the tester is ideally suited to perform low energy impact simulation, penetration and rebound testing.

This system can be used for testing a wide range of materials and products, including consumer goods, packaging materials such as plastic food bags, biomedical packaging and shipping supplies.

The unique compact, tabletop system can achieve energies up to 18J (13.2 ft/lb) and velocities up to 3 m/s (9.8 ft/sec.). Mini-Tower systems come equipped with manual clamps to accommodate flat specimens and a lower support table for testing of larger components.
