Reko launches alliance with robotics specialist

Reko Automation & Machine Tool Inc. and Radix Controls Inc. have announced a strategic alliance. Radix Controls specializes in integrated software solutions, vision-guided robotics and vision inspection and control systems for industrial applications. Reko Automation & Machine Tool, a subsidiary of Reko International Group, designs, fabricates and installs turnkey machinery and manufacturing solutions.
According to company officials, the alliance is designed to capitalize on synergies and the respective strengths of each company.
"Radix Controls adds instant expertise and additional strength to our current controls department," says Roger Awad, president of Reko Automation. "We can now participate in automated manufacturing solutions with more advanced technologies designed into them."
Ross Rawlings, president of Radix, says that the synergies between the companies will position Radix as a serious global provider of advanced high technology automation products.
