Ontario-based tooling supplier Reko International Group Inc. has signed a three-year, multi-million dollar machining contract.

Ontario-based tooling supplier Reko International Group Inc. has signed a three-year, multi-million dollar machining contract.

 

The contract, with an unnamed single customer, is expected to generate $27.5 million of sales over the three years, with 34 per cent of the revenue to be earned in the first year, commencing in the third quarter of Reko’s fiscal 2015 year.

“This agreement will have a significant impact upon our sales and operations, and shows confidence in our ability to machine critical components in a competitive and consistent manner,” said Diane Reko, CEO of the Lakeshore, Ont.-based company. “We are pleased to be selected as a trusted and competent manufacturing partner.”

Founded in 1976, Reko designs and manufactures customized machining and engineering solutions to OEMs and their Tier I suppliers in the automotive, oil and gas distribution, mining, military, and capital equipment sectors.
