Madison Heights, Mich.-based mold technology supplier D-M-E Company has named Gary Zack as the new hot runner sales specialist, focusing on the medical and new-domestic automotive markets.

Pittsburgh, Pa.-based resin supplier Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) has appointed Kirk Bourgeois head of the North American region of BaySystems, the companys global network of some 20 polyurethane systems houses. Rod Herrick has been named as Bourgeois successor to lead BMS methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI) operations at the companys Baytown, Tex. site. And Lora Rand has been appointed to lead BMS Newark, N.J. polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends compounding facility.
