Nominations now open for CPIA industry awards

The Canadian Plastics Industry Association is now accepting nominations for its 2009 awards, which will be presented at a special luncheon during the association’s annual general meeting in June.

As always, there are three levels of awards: CanPlast, Leader of the Year and Lifetime Achievement. The company honoured several industry leaders with CanPlast and Lifetime Achievement awards last year, and named Brampton, Ont.-based Par-Pak Ltd. president Sajjad Ebrahim as the Leader of the Year.

Nominations are being accepted until Friday, March 27, and can be submitted electronically. Full information on the awards is available here.
