K SHOW PREVIEW: ExxonMobil launches new PE, elastomer formulations

ExxonMobil Chemical will be introducing the first series of products in its new Nexxstar family of polyethylene resins. In stretch hood packaging applications, Nexxstar will provide processors and end-users a number of major performance advantages, according to the company. Additionally, ExxonMobil will also introduce two new low gel grades of Exceed mLLDPE ideal for high quality lamination and converter film, as well as a novel family of specialty elastomers, Vistamaxx, targeted for "non-woven" and film applications. The company will also promote its strong track record as a leader in metallocene polypropylene (mpp) technology and the broadening of its Achieve mpp product line.
