Merquinsa appoints GM for North America

Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) producer Merquinsa has appointed Dennis Lauzon general manager of its North American operations.
“Dennis’s promotion is well-deserved. His experience in creating and driving growth for Merquinsa in North America, as well as his expertise in the plastics and elastomers industries to serve our North American customers are invaluable,” Albert Adroer, general manager, Merquinsa, said. “As we grow, we expect to significantly increase our operations in North America and attract more talented people to Merquinsa North America.”
Lauzon studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta, and prior to joining Merquinsa three years ago had worked for Dow Plastics in North America.
Merquinsa’s world headquarters are in Barcelona, Spain; the company’s North American facility is located in Seabrook, N.H. Merquinsa provides TPUs for injection molding, extrusion, melt coating, compounding and adhesives applications.
