Dier International new rep for Conair in Canada

Dier International Plastics Inc., of Markham, Ont., has been appointed the exclusive sales representative agency in eastern Canada for auxiliary equipment manufacturer The Conair Group.

Dier will sell the entire line of Conair equipment, including resin drying systems, blenders, feeders and material-conveying systems, temperature-control equipment, granulators, downstream equipment for pipe and profile extrusion, and line-control and scrap-reclaims solutions for film and sheet.

According to Cranberry Township, Pa.-based Conair, Reid is responsible for sales of the company’s equipment in all Canadian provinces except British Columbia and Alberta. To service the provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick, Dier has formed a strategic alliance with two industry veterans, Francois Laferriere (Industries Laferriere) and Joceyln Fournier (FM Mecanique), who will sell Conair products to injection molders and extruders respectively.
