Bunting Magnetics launches UK-based sales centre

Magnetic separation systems and material handling equipment supplier Bunting Magnetics Co. is launching a new manufacturing and sales operation centre based in Berkhamsted, England.

The new location will be responsible for all sales in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the African continent. The expansion comes on the heels of Bunting’s acquisition of Magnet Applications Ltd., which has a manufacturing operation in Berkhamsted.

“This expansion is an extension of our acquisition,” said Robert J. Bunting, the Newton, Kan.-based company’s owner and CEO. “Magnet Applications significantly expands Bunting’s product and market scope. They have outstanding market recognition as a premier manufacturer of bonded NdFeB magnets and technical assemblies.”
