Kansas-based Bunting Magnetics Co. has further increased its presence in the Canadian market with the purchase of C.A. Systems & Plastics of Maple, ON. Founded in 1992 by Frank and Elizabeth Lepicek, C.A. Systems & Plastics is a distributor of molding supplies and equipment. The company will lose its name and become integrated into Bunting Magnetics Canada, which was formed in April when Bunting Magnetics acquired New Moulders Supply. C.A. Systems co-founder Elizabeth Lepicek has joined Bunting Magnetics Canada, while Frank Lepicek has left to pursue other business interests.
According to Mike Wilkes, Bunting Magnetics director of marketing and sales, the purchase expands the company’s customer base in Canada. “The current owner (of C.A. Systems and Plastics) is very well known, and with her come a lot of good customers for us.”Bunting Magnetics manufactures magnetic metal separation equipment, as well as a full line of modular conveyors.
