Brantford, Ont.-based ITML Horticultural Products Inc., a manufacturer of plastic containers and products for the North American horticultural market, has been purchased by Myers Industries Inc., of Akron, Ohio, for approximately US$110.1 million.
The company will be integrated into Myers Industries’ Lawn and Garden segment and will operate as a strategic business unit within the segment, ITML said.
Franklin, Mass.-based pressure and temperature measurement and control products manufacturer Dynisco LLC has been purchased from Audax Group, for US$243 million, by the investment firm Roper Industries Inc., which is headquartered in Duluth, Ga.
Norcross, Ga.-based injection machine manufacturer Sumitomo Plastics Machinery is opening a new 1,500-sq. ft. training centre in Corona, Calif. The centre will be located in the facility of Sumitomo’s West Coast sales representative Integrated Plastics Machinery Inc.
