ITML Horticultural Products Inc. has acquired the tooling and manufacturing equipment of the former TLC Polyform, Inc., based in Beaverton, MI. The purchase includes an unspecified number of injection molding machines; as well gives ITML the rights to manufacture the TLC line of horticultural equipment. The majority of the purchased equipment and tooling will be housed in a new 26,000 sq. ft. addition recently opened at ITML’s 208,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Brantford, ON., according to Nancy Couture, ITML marketing coordinator.
TLC, which has gone into receivership, was one of the pioneer developers of the plug flat for the horticultural and agricultural industries. ITML says it plans to incorporate and streamline the TLC line of plug flats and other products into its own line of ITML Horticultural Products.
ITML operates three plants in Canada and two in the U.S.
