Sandretto’s Mega TE Series is available in clamping forces from 610 to 1100 tons. Fitted with an electric screw drive and accumulators, the Mega TE Series offers customers 15 to 20 percent increased productivity, 25 to 30 percent energy savings and lower noise levels. These machines are designed for the special needs of molders who require very high output rates and outstanding machine performance for demanding applications.
Customers can also choose a special injection unit (called the F Option) which incorporates a 25:1 L/D ratio mixing screw and hydraulic shut-off nozzle. This configuration is preferred for customers who need maximized throughput rates, since the use of the 25:1 L/D screw yields high melt quality even with extremely fast cycle times.
