Dates set for K 2013 trade show

It’s official: Preparations are now underway for the K 2013 plastics trade show.

The first meeting of the Exhibitors Council took place in early May, heralds the beginning of concrete preparations for K 2013, which will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany from October 16 to 23.

The Council is chaired by Ulrich Reifenhäuser, CEO of the extrusion equipment manufacturer Reifenhauser; other Council members include representatives from Dow, Bayer MaterialScience, and KraussMaffei Technologies AG.

Last year’s K 2010 drew 3,098 exhibitors and approximately 222,000 visitors, according to Mess Dusseldorf, which operates the show.

Invitations to exhibitors will be sent out at the beginning of 2012, and the registration deadline for K 2013 is May 31, 2012.
