Printpack acquires Seal-it Inc.

Atlanta, Ga.-based flexible packager Printpack Inc. is acquiring shrink sleeve manufacturer Seal-it Inc.
The terms of the transaction were not announced.
“Seal-it is an ideal addition to Printpack,” Dennis M. Love, president of Printpack, said. “It brings us new and important market relationshipsand strengthens our strategic commitment to expanding our offerings of value-added flexible packaging. We’re confident this acquisition will allow Printpack to apply its strengths of operational efficiency and technology development in a new but related market.”
Headquartered in Farmingdale, N.Y., Seal-it Inc. produces sleeved and heat shrink polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film for the packaging market.
With sales of over US$1 billion, Printpack Inc. employs approximately 4,000 people in 23 manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Mexico and Great Britain.
