Roberto Longo, VP of Finance at Montreal, Que.-based film manufacturer Imaflex Inc., will resign from his position effective Nov. 9, 2007 to pursue other interests. The company is currently conducting a search to replace Longo.

Cincinnati, Ohio-based Milacron Inc. has hired Brian T. Bishop as vice president of marketing, global plastics machinery. He will report to Bob Simpson, president of Milacrons global plastics machinery division. Bishop was most recently president of the Demag Plastics Group, and previously held leadership positions at HPM and Engel Machinery.

Additive supplier Teknor Apex Company, based in Pawtucket, R.I., has named Ghislaine Verd as sales representative for colour concentrate and specialty compounding sales in Quebec and Ontario.

The Extrusions Systems Group of Pawcatuk, Conn.-based Davis-Standard LLC has appointed Roger Clarke to the position of sales engineer for the sheet/foam/reclaim/single screw compounding product groups. His territory will include the western provinces of Canada.

Burnaby, B.C.-based plastic blasting media (PBM) and plastic lumber manufacturer Poly-Pacific International Inc. has announced the resignation of three of its Board of Directors — David Tam, Mike Duff and Dr. Edward Chambers. Tam has also resigned from his position of Corporate Secretary. The company has also appointed Dick Sharples to the board.

Nova Chemicals Corporation has appointed Chris Bezaire to vice president, advanced SCLAIRTECH technology and licensing. He will operate from the company’s office in Pittsburgh, Pa.
