Burlington, Ont.-based Stanmech Technologies Inc. has appointed Rocco Trentadue as technical sales representative for Southwestern Ontario and other parts of Canada. Trentadue has over ten years of technical sales experience in industrial and commercial markets in Ontario.

Bunting Magnetics Co. has named Don Harris as its Canadian sales engineer. Harris will generate sales for the company’s wide array of products throughout Canada. Bunting manufactures magnetic metal separators and detectors specifically for the plastics industry. The company also manufactures a wide range of magnetic material handling products, such as conveyors and lifters.

Global packaging manufacturer Sonoco has appointed Alan Hutchins to the new position of division vice president, global operations — Consumer Packaging. He will be responsible for the company’s global consumer packaging manufacturing operations, including interfacing with newly acquired Mississauga, Ont.-based Matrix Packaging Inc. Addiitionally, Jim Lassiter has joined Sonoco as director of manufacturing, Rigid Paper and Plastics — North America.
