Worcester, Mass.-based Absolute Haitian Corporation has appointed Shadow Automation Inc., of Uxbridge, Ont., as sales representitive for the province of Ontario. Shadow Automation is headed by Larry Bonehill, who can be reached at 416-464-2070.

Global packaging manufacturer Sonoco has announced new management appointments in its Consumer Packaging and Packaging Services segments. Current Sonoco CorrFlex president Rob Tiede has been named the vice president and general manager of Sonoco’s Flexible Packaging division, effective July 1, 2007. In this role, the Manitoba native will be responsible for all of Sonoco’s flexible packaging operations, including seven converting and two cylinder engraving plants in the U.S. and Canada.

Additionally, Procter & Gamble division vice president and general manager Brad Ross has been named division vice president and general manager of Sonoco’s Packaging Services segment. Charles Crocker, the current division vice president and general manager for Flexible Packaging, has been named the vice president of customer and business development.

Farmingham, Mass.-based Moldflow Corporation has promoted corporate controller Gregory Magoon to the position of executive vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer and assistant secretary. Magoon will take the place of former executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer Christopher Gorgone, who has resigned to pursue other interests.

Dawn Krycki has rejoined Mississauga, Ont.-based blown film technology supplier Future Design Inc. She will serve as executive assistant to company president and CEO Robert D. Krycki
