Quebec-based mold designer and manufacturer Rocand Industries has started up a plant in Escobedo’s Industrial Park in Monterrey, Mexico.

According to the company, the geographical expansion will enable Rocand to offer high-quality products with a good lead time.

“Rocand is a close supplier which can offer a continuous technical support for new molds — for mold maintenance, repair and modification — near our client,” explained company president Andre Rochette.

Founded in 1996, Rocand primarily aims at the market of worldwide companies in all of North America. The company’s clients are involved in the electrical and electronic systems, consumer goods, biomedical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, packaging and transportation sectors.
