K SHOW PREVIEW: Modular machine provides custom thermoforming

Frimo Group is unveiling its Ecoline 20/10 thermoforming machine, a completely modular machine line that can be tailored to exact manufacturing requirements. The machine comes with forklift shoes and can therefore be easily moved and relocated within a plant. No guiding or driving components penetrate the floor, so the machine does not require a special foundation.
The machine’s fully electric drive is concealed below the table, so all table movements are freely adjustable, which in turn provides ergonomic benefits during the insertion of sheets. An optional clamping frame with automatic adjustment on three sides and tool change systems with tool recognition minimize costly setup times. The heating module is customized to meet the requirements of the processed material. Depending on the thickness and type of material, flash halogen heaters or quartz heaters are used.
