CPIA, CPSC to host seminar on HR practices

The Canadian Plastics Industry Association and Canadian Plastics Sector Council, with the support of the Government of Canada, will present a special seminar on human resources and recruitment and retention practices later this month.

“This seminar will be beneficial for anyone whose duties include or impact the recruitment and ongoing retention strategies for employees within their firm,” said the CPIA.

The event will take place in Toronto on Tuesday, January 22, and features presentations by Bill Empey of Prism Economics and Analysis and Michael Bennett of Engage HR Solutions Inc. Empey will highlight current HR management industry practices and discuss ways to improve the process, while Bennett will discuss HR best practices for small- and mid-sized companies.
