Plastics sector workers anxious to draw back the blade won’t have to wait much longer, as a number of industry associations have finalized the dates for their annual golf tournaments.
The season kicks off on May 20, as the Plastic Film Manufacturers division of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) stages its 29th annual golf tournament at Richmond Hill Golf Club, in Richmond Hill, Ont. The tournament, which is preceded by a general meeting, has a shotgun start at 1:00pm. A registration form can be downloaded here.
The Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA) sponsors its 12th annual tournament on June 1, at the Pine Knot Golf & Country Club in Dorchester, Ont. Shotgun start is at 10:30am. More information and a registration form can be downloaded at this link.
On June 6, the Canadian Association of Mold Makers (CAMM) will hold its tournament at Fox Glen Golf Club, in Windsor, Ont. For more information and a registration form, click on this link.
In partnership with the CPIA Quebec, the Quebec Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) will hold a tournament on June 10 at the Club de Golf la Madeleine, in Ste-Madeleine, Que. Shotgun start is at 11:30am. For more information and a registration form (in English) click here.
