Moretto adds branches in China, India, Russia

Italy-based automation technology supplier Moretto SpA is expanding its global presence by opening three new branches in China, India, and Russia.

“China is a market at the core of the international plastics industry with growing production needs from both technological and automation point of view,” Moretto said in a statement. “India is considered the second emergent country after China and represents an important attraction for economic activities around the world with an exponential and continuous GDP growth. And Russia [is] a growing market in which Moretto doubled its sales volume in the first half of 2017: an increase of 35% compared to the total amount of 2016.”

“The opening of the new Moretto branches…ensures a prompt and immediate after-sales service through direct presence on the market,” the statement continued.

The specific locations of the three new branches has not yet been announced.
