Nova Chemicals names new senior VP, CFO

Beck, who will be based in Nova‘s facility in Pittsburgh, Pa., replaces outgoing CFO Todd Karran, who was named Nova’s CEO in 2015.

Beck previously served as vice president, finance and divisional CFO of Joy Global’s Underground Mining segment.

“As we look forward to continued growth in a changing marketplace, Julie’s experience and leadership will help play a critical role in our ability to enable our customers to deliver products that make everyday life healthier, easier and safer,” Karran said in a statement.
