The Brown Machine Division of John Brown Plastics Machinery proudly introduces the CS-5505-S Thermoformer and T-345-V Trim Press. The CS-5505-S is designed primarily for production of plates, lids and trays from both rigid and foam materials. New features include a maximum mold size of 50 in. by 50 in., with a maximum draw depth of 4 in. A seven-inch deep draw version with optional third platen motion for plug assisting will be introduced later in the year. It will form products up to 45 cycles per minute, and the form station is guided in four directions by high-precision THK linear bearings.

The new T-345-V Trim Press features four-point guiding, using high-precision THK linear bearings as well. Maximum speed of the press is 160 strokes per minute. The press also features adjustable stroke settings of four and six inches for different part heights. The sheet-fed system features an electric servo nip wheel feed system controlled by a sensor to indicate location of formed product.

Both the trim press and the thermoformer are controlled by a flat panel touch screen PC.
