Self-service system simplifies HR functions

A multi-location bottle manufacturer has chosen iEmployee to help automate their human resource functions, using iEmployee’s web-based solutions which focus on employee self-service. iEmployee’s online applications automate business operations such as human resources (HR), benefits, time and attendance, and expenses.

With a single log-in and password, employees of Grafco PET Packaging Technologies (Baltimore, MD), can view and edit their personal, dependent and emergency data; enroll in benefits on-line; make life event changes; and view their current and past pay stubs.

In addition, employees can view their vacation and sick time balances on-line, and access all benefit information, such as plan descriptions.

Inventory in the palm of your hand

Version 9 of the plastics-industry specific ERP software, The Manufacturing Manager (TMM), uses wireless PDA technology to deliver improved inventory management.

TMM v.9 has functionality that allows processors to incorporate PDA (personal digital assistant) technology for warehouse management. PDA technology is a cost effective alternative to traditional radio-frequency devices.

TMM v.9 provides complete control of raw materials, including blends, assembled work-in-progress, finished goods and other items to ensure optimal reorder points.
