Rectangluar suction cups give better grip

A line of rectangular suction cups from Anver provide better handling for long, thin injection molded parts. Such products previously required multiple round cups to stabilize the load.

The cups are molded from non-marking silicone or nitrile, and range in size from 0.39 in. to 3.94 in. long, and 0.27 in. to 1.38 in. wide. They can be supplied with fittings, suspensions and tubing.

Light duty, air-operated conveyors

Convert ordinary hose or tube into a conveyor for scrap, trim and bulk materials with Exair’s light duty Line Vac. Ideal for short runs, the compressed-air powered units transport lightweight materials through the intake and accelerate them through vertical or horizontal hose or tube. Conveying rates are controlled by regulating the compressed air supply pressure.

Suggested applications include hopper loading, scrap trim removal and parts transfer.

Versatile extruder control

For processors who need an extrusion control system with maximum flexibility and a wide range of control capabilities, Davis-Standard offers Mesa Pack and Mesa Pack Pro.

Mesa Pack features multi-pen, real-time trending; multiple levels of security; process data acquisition and reporting capabilities; a configurable closed-loop control function; and optional data storage. It is capable of controlling one extruder and one additional speed-controlled device, as well as extruder temperature and associated auxiliary heat zones.

Additional features on the Mesa Pack Pro provide increased flexibility. It includes integrated temperature control loops with auto tuning that can control multiple extruders and auxiliary equipment.
