Mary Harvey has joined Brampton Engineering Inc. (Brampton, Ont.) as corporate communications specialist.
Rob Orpen has been named regional sales manager by Ontario Heater & Supply (Richmond Hill, Ont.). Orpen’s territory will be the Niagara area to Kitchener-Waterloo, including Mississauga and Brampton.
David Douse has been promoted to president of Uniplast Films’ Canadian operations. He has held management positions in sales, marketing, technical and manufacturing since joining the company is 1986. Based in Orillia, Ont., Uniplast Film manufactures monolayer and co-extruded blown films and micro-embossed cast films for flexible packaging.
John Rimmer has been named district manager at General Polymers (Mississauga, Ont.). Rimmer’s last position was with NOVA Chemicals.
Jonathan Fischer has been named president and chief operating officer of Mold-Masters group of companies world-wide. Fischer began his career at Mold-Masters in 1986, and has held a number of senior positions abroad and in Canada prior to this promotion.
