New generation compounding equipment

Buss has introduced a 55mm version of its popular Modular Kneader System (MKS). This offers a Kneader designed for higher screw speeds and higher throughput rates compared to its former versions.

Its unique design principle provides thorough distributive and dispersive mixing with processing control along the entire length of the processing barrel. The diameter of the discharge extruder of the new MKS series will be bigger, allowing higher throughput for PVC and cable compounds as well as other temperature and shear-sensitive compounds.

There is the MKS 70-17 D and the laboratory machine, MKS 30-18D, both of which can be used for the compounding of filled and reinforced compounds.
