The Canadian Association of Moldmakers presented its annual awards to a group of graduates from St. Clair College’s moldmaking programs at the association’s January meeting. The awards, sponsored by D-M-E of Canada, DMS Canada, Cornerstone Technologies, M2M International, Morgan Precision Tools and Bernard Mould, go to the Best Moldmaking Technician, Best Plastics Mold Product Design Technician and Best Manufacturing Technician CAD/CAM Design. Richard Tang, who was not in attendance, won the award for the 2001 Best Plastics Mold Product Design Technician amd will receive a trophy from DMS Canada and a gift certificate from Morgan Precision Tools.
