Mold release gives early release for filament winding
Axel Plastics Research Laboratories has made available the new MoldWiz WB-2700 water-based mold release, which is specifically designed for the rigorous molding conditions of the filament winding process.
A silicone-free emulsion of fatty acids, polyolefins and surfactants in a water vehicle, the WB-2700 mold release contains no hazardous materials and meets HMIS objectives, and also complies with the chemical substance inventory lists of TSCA, DSL, MITI, EINECS, Australia and Korea.
Additionally, the product is a 10 per cent active release that can be easily diluted if desired.
