EXTRUSION SYSTEM MAKES WATER-EFFICIENT IRRIGATION PIPE

Reifenhauser GmbH & Co. has developed an extrusion line specially built for drip irrigation pipes. The in-line extrusion system for flexible PE pipes places exactly-spaced prefabricated drippers in the pipe as it is formed in the pipe die. After the pipe has passed the sizing and cooling sections, it is perforated at the drippers and conveyed to the winder. Drip irrigation pipe provides consistent, carefully-directed and efficient irrigation of crops.
