Dow Seeking Packaging Partners

Resin producer Dow Plastics is actively seeking the participation of companies to evaluate the company’s line of Primacor copolymers for applications in flexible packaging.

“We’re looking for creative formulators, processors and compounders to align with,” says Gloria Wells Cotton, market development manager for Primacor. Wells says that the same features that make copolymers ideal for use as an adhesive in packaging, also make them effective in other packaging applications, many of which have yet to be identified.

Potential applications being targeted include tie-coats or primers, abrasion-resistant coatings, paperboard coatings, textile lamination, adhesive lamination films and others. Interested companies can contact Dow at the Web site www.dowprimacor.com.
