Blown Film/Extrusion: Refined Pipe Extruder

American Maplan’s SS-75-30 single-screw extruder has been redesigned to make extrusion of HDPE pipe easier and more cost effective. The machine is modular in design, which provides maximum flexibility. The main drive is a 200-hp AC motor that uses an electronic current limit switch to protect against overload. The nitrided screw is 75 mm in diameter with an effective L/D ratio of 30:1.
