The all-electric injection molding machine, SES Series, is offered
by Sumitomo Plastics-Machinery. Designed to provide ultra-high precision capabilities, it also offers significant energy savings with the high-speed reliability of Sumitomo’s double-toggle clamp design. SES performance results for shot weight accuracy and repeatability can yield a typical deviation-to-mean ratio of less than 0.02 percent. Available with a selection of injection units and screws, the SES series provide the precision, power (up to 40,000 psi) and velocity for a wide range of applications, from thick-walled lenses to micro-sized, thin-wall parts.
For injection, two direct-drive, Sumitomo-built AC servo motors with full closed-loop control and digital sensors provide outstanding speed, precision and energy efficiency.
