Agreement launches special effect masterbatches

A recent North American sales and marketing agreement joins Clariant Masterbatches’ effects technology with the unique ClearTint transparent colourants from Milliken & Company, and makes those masterbatches available even in small lot sizes.

The Milliken colourants will be offered under the ENIGMA

brand name in a wide range of transparent colours and in combination with reflective special effects. These include iridescent pearls and Spectrachrome, a high-end multicolor flip technology incorporating complementary or contrasting color particles.

To mark the announcement of this marketing agreement, Clariant will be producing molded samples using three distinctive ClearTint colours: bright green, dark purple and fuchsia. Each colour will be presented using the colour alone, with iridescent pearl effect, and with Spectrachrome.
