The Brampton, Ont.-based firm has appointed Philippe Mafille as its representative in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.

Injection mold maker StackTeck Systems Ltd. has expanded its overseas representation.

The Brampton, Ont.-based firm has appointed Philippe Mafille as its representative in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) regions.

Mafille is described by the company as having over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry, with a specialization in injection molds for the packaging, beverage, and medical markets. “We have experienced continued growth in overseas regions, and have made significant investments in engineering, machine tool technology, and testing facilities to support our global activities,” said Henry Rozema, StackTeck’s vice president of business development and innovation. “Philippe is uniquely qualified for this role.”

StackTeck has been expanding its regional presence in recent years, in order to support its business growth on a global basis. “Our capacity has been substantially increased in the last few years and we continue to ensure that we have the resources available to deliver on large mold programs globally while improving our overall lead times,” said StackTeck’s president and CEO Randy Yakimishyn.
