RTP opens sheet division

RTP Company has announced the opening of a new Sheet Extrusion Division as a complimentary business to its compounding capabilities. The new division is headquartered in Winona, MN and is initially capable of producing sheet and roll stock from 0.010 in. to 0.400 in. thick, in widths up to 62 in.
In a release, RTP said the Sheet Division is an outgrowth of the ongoing effort to support and develop the manufacture of specialty compounds used in extrusion applications.
"Because of the technical expertise and library of formulations RTP has developed over the past 20 years for the injection molding market, we are uniquely qualified to become a leading supplier to the custom sheet and roll extrusion market," said Bill Minogue, the Sheet Extrusion Division manager.
