Marshall Additive Technologies (MAT), a new division of the Southfield, Mich.-based raw materials supplier R.J. Marshall Company, will market flame retardant and smoke suppressant additives.
MAT will carry the H-Tec line of flame retardant aluminum trihydrate (ATH), magnesium hydroxides and other magnesium-based compounds; and the C-Tec line of polymer processable smoke suppressants.
MAT will also incorporate specialty additives currently marketed under the American Fillers and Abrasives brand, including cycle reducing additives, aramid compounds, cellulose compounds and expanded polyethylene (PE).
In addition to its headquarters in Southfield, R.J. Marshall Company has manufacturing facilities in Rockwood, Erie and Detroit, Mich.; Canfield, Ohio; Alpine, Ala.; and Valley Springs, Calif.
