More changes at DuPont

The rapid pace of change at resin supplier DuPont continues with another name change, effective immediately. DuPont Textiles and Interiors is to be known as Invista. The name change is another step toward separating the textiles unit from the DuPont parent company.
Much of the former DuPont Canada organization (Mississauga, ON) became part of DuPont Textiles and Interiors in August, but the Canadian operations will not change names until year end, according to a spokesman. Canadian operations in Kingston and Maitland, ON, plus the engineering polymers business, performance coatings business in Ajax, ON, and packaging and industrial polymers operations in Sarnia, ON, fall under the DuPont Textiles and Interiors banner.
