Bayer Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of Bayer AG, was recognized as a significant new donor by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) at the Adam Linton Memorial Lecture.

Bayer contributed $50,000 to the OMA Medical Studenta Bursary Fund, and was also recognized for its commitment to medical education in Canada.

“We are extremely proud to support the OMA Medical Student Bursary Fund,” said Bayer Inc. president and CEO Philip Blake. “At Bayer we are committed to providing physicians and patients across the country with the best medicine. Part of this commitment is ensuring that we continue to support medical students in their journey to becoming practicing physicians.”

Bayer Inc. is headquartered in Toronto, and operates the group’s HealthCare and MaterialScience businesses in Canada.
